Day 1: From Hurghada to the White Desert's Mystical Landscape

At 06:00 am, your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Hurghada . A comfortable private vehicle will transport you about 600 km to the Bahariya Oasis , a journey of approximately 6 hours, including three refreshing coffee breaks.

Upon arrival at Bahariya Oasis around 10:00 am, you'll meet your expert safari guide and switch to a 4x4 Jeep to commence your desert exploration.

Drive to the intriguing Black Desert, named for the layer of black powder covering its mountains and highlands, creating a unique geological spectacle.

Around 13:00, lunch will be served in the serene El Haize Oasis, located 37 km from Bawiti . Before lunch, take a relaxing dip in a natural hot water spring, known for its stress-reducing and muscle-relaxing properties. You can also visit the Water Museum, showcasing the importance of underground water to desert communities and traditional irrigation methods.

After lunch, continue your journey to the Valley of Agabat, arriving around 14:00. This remarkable valley, deep within the White Desert, was once submerged under the sea millions of years ago, resulting in unique limestone and chalk formations. Discover the Wadi el Agabat by 4x4 and enjoy an exhilarating sandboarding experience.

At 16:30, explore the renowned White Desert National Park, Egypt's most famous desert destination. Marvel at hundreds of natural rock formations resembling animals like chickens, sphinxes, camels, and mushrooms.

As 17:30 approaches, set up your tents and prepare to witness a breathtaking desert sunset.

Around 18:30, as the sky transforms with fiery hues, the rock shapes fade, and silence descends. Enjoy a simple yet delicious dinner of chicken, rice, and vegetables prepared by Bedouin staff (vegetarian options available) around a cozy campfire. Spend an unforgettable night camping under a canopy of stars. All necessary camping equipment, including sleeping bags, tents, and mattresses, is provided. Please note that desert temperatures can drop significantly at night, so a proper jacket is recommended for comfort.

Day 2: Crystal Mountain, Hot Springs & Journey to Wadi el Hitan

Wake up to a stunning desert sunrise and enjoy breakfast in the White Desert. Afterwards, drive towards Bahariya Oasis , making a stop at Crystal Mountain , locally known as Gebel al-Izzaz. This sparkling crystal hill, formed by quartzite crystals, is a true jewel of the desert, discovered by accident decades ago. Drive to Bahariya Oasis .

Soak in the heat at Bir Sigam , a hot spring that can help to relax. Located 7 km east of Bahariya on the Cairo road, this spring offers the best hot spring temperature.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Bahariya. After lunch, you will discover Bahariya Oasis before driving to Wadi el Hitan from Bahariya Oasis . Conclude your day with an overnight stay at a camp in the extraordinary Wadi el Hitan.

Day 3: Wadi el Hitan, Magic Lake & Return to Cairo

Begin your day from your campsite in Wadi el Hitan with an exciting 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser adventure to the heart of Wadi Al Hitan Wadi-Al-Hitan Egypt 360 (Whale Valley), approximately 69.2 km from Tunis Village in Fayoum, Egypt.

Wadi Al Hitan Wadi-Al-Hitan Egypt 360 is a Protected Area and a Natural Heritage Site added in 2005 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Also known to scientists as Zeuglodon Valley, it was discovered in 1936 and is located 35 KM west of Wadi El-Ryan, deep into the Western Desert. It is an area of fossils, considered an open museum, dating back 45 million years and containing petrified primitive whale skeletons, shark teeth, shells, and roots of Mangroves preserved in soft rocks. Everywhere you go here, you find petrified sea shells and corals. Visit the Fossil & Climate Change Museum Wadi-Al-Hitan#Change_Climate_Museum Egypt 360 , which hosts a variety of whale fossils and skeletons displayed outdoors, alongside indoor exhibits of fossils, skeletons, fossilized mangroves, and ancient seashells in glass boxes.
